Student Kudos

The following students of XIMB added a few more feathers to the cap of the institution by some outstanding achievements in premier events/competitions.

Tarakrama Rao Raghupati and Jay Shankar Prasad, PGPRM 2008-10, presented a case study-"Enabavi-The Road Ahead in Agriculture" which was adjudged as among the best submissions in the Sitaram Rao Livelihood case study competition 2009 organised by MDI, Gurgaon and Access Development Services.

Blood Letter Day

 

 

No act of humanity can be greater than saving a life. The Social Responsibility Cell of XIMB (SRC) organized a blood donation camp on the 24th of October, 2009 in cooperation with the Rotary Club, Bhubaneswar and the Red Cross Society.

Carnival Unleashed

Xpressions '09 kicks off in just over two weeks from now and already the event is building up to its name, both in terms of participation and scale. Major highlights and flagship events like Kurukshetra, Gladiator, Helios and Skill City have already raked in record number of participants this time around and they promise to provide interesting contests, which all of us would watch with bated breath.

On the 25th of October, SRC took the initiative of bringing smiles to the faces of many children who are deprived of the bliss of a fulfilling life by supporting Professionals' Association for Action and Development (PAAD) in organizing 'BAL MELA'.

Utsav of Lights

 

 

Deeps... Crackers... And lots of MASTI! Deepawali was celebrated in typical XIMBian style with loads of fun and fervor on 17th of October. Celebrations began with decoration of the hostel blocks with deeps and candles.

On 11th October 2009, IRC hosted the 'FRENCH NYTE'. IRC, the International Relations Committee of XIMB took this initiative a year back and this was for the second time that it celebrated this event.
