Our alumnus Mr. Bismaya Mahapatra belonging to the batch of 1989, received Gandhi-Vinoba Peace Award on behalf of his NGO Harsha Trust. In an International Seminar on Peace and Non-Violence on the 11th September organised by the Vinoba Seva Patisthan at Jayadev Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, the Honourable Governor of Orissa conferred this prestigious award.
With a number of upcoming events in the alma mater another event lined up on the 27th of September, 2008 in the amphitheater of XIMB. It was Finomics'08: A finance summit organized by XFIN ( the finance committee of XIMB) which gave the budding managersan opportunity to interact with different corporate leaders across the industry.
