On 13th of November, 2009, Mr. Sunil Shashtri, Principal Consultant with UK based firm PA consulting had an interactive session with the Rural Management students of XIMB.

 

In the discussion he clarified the student's doubts about Consultancy as a potential sector to work for. There was an elaborate deliberation about the role of a Consultant and how he can fit himself into changing market scenarios. As the discussion went ahead, there were questions about how PA consulting works in India and what projects are lined up for the future. Mr. Shastri also explained the expectations from a consultant and the skill sets required for doing a consultant’s job. 

 

Overall, it was a very enriching experience for the students wherein they came to know about the nuances of consulting.
