Gram Tarang Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (GFS) is a new generation microfinance institution founded with the mission to promote entrepreneurship and to extend financial services to marginalized groups, women and the youth. It has a total equity base of 35 lakh which it plans to increase to 1 crore by Dec 2009 and has a target for 10 crore outstanding portfolio by this year end. 

 

Presently, Mr. Venkat Sivanand Kumar, XIMB-RM alumnus of 2005-07 batch is the CEO of GFS which is planning to issue shares at PAR to all XIMB alumni willing to invest equity in GFS and would like to go for valuation in April 2010.
