Project One Crore

Mr. Chittaranjan Jena, PGP Alumnus of 1999 Batch, has taken it up as a challenge to raise Rs. 1crore for his and our alma mater, XIMB. Mr. Chittaranjan, who also happened to be the General Secretary in 1999, plans to raise the money in the next 365 days.

 

His plan of action is to ensure that his batch raises either Rs. 30,000 per day or somehow get 3 Alumni to contribute towards the cause. The resources will first be collected and then a collective forum will be organized to advise the institute on how to spend it. This forum will be organized on the day the target of Rs. 1crore is reached.

 

Mr. Siba Prakash Kar, PGP Batch of 1999 is the first alumnus who has contributed to this huge initiative. In the words of Mr. Chittaranjan Jena, “He's the person who had taken this first small step but a giant leap. Now others will follow.” Mr. Siba Prakash Kar has also been helping the institute for the placement process. He has been instrumental in selecting as many as 6 students for summer internships this year.
